The countdown is on! Our 50th Reunion celebration is getting closer, and the excitement is starting to build. A milestone like this doesn’t come around often, and we’ve put together a weekend designed to bring back the laughter, the memories, and the easy camaraderie that made our South High years so special.

Weekend Events & Registration Details

FRIDAY, JULY 24

Downtown Mural Walk & Pub Crawl
5:00 PM • $10 per person (+1 guests are warmly welcome)
Starting Location: FIRE HALL NO. 2, 916 Main Ave, Fargo, ND 58103
Hosts: Rick & Anna Gunderson
We’re kicking off the reunion with a burst of color, conversation, and classic Fargo fun. We’ll gather at Fire Hall No. 2 for pizza and beverages before heading out together to explore downtown’s vibrant murals and stop at a few favorite pubs. It’s relaxed, lively, and the perfect way for classmates and their +1 guests to ease into the weekend and reconnect. And if you’d prefer to join the group a little later, there’s no cost to meet up along the way; food and beverages at the pubs are simply on your own. Downloadable maps and a list of likely pub‑crawl stops will be available on the registration page so you can find the group.

SATURDAY, JULY 25

9‑Holes of Golf
Tee times 10:00–10:30 AM (+1 guests are welcome to play)
$29 walking • $42 with cart
Location: Rose Creek Golf, 1500 Rose Creek Pkwy S, Fargo, ND 58104
Host: Kevin Moser
Foursomes will tee off between 10:00 and 10:30 AM. Club rentals are available at the clubhouse. A relaxed morning on the course is a great way for classmates and their guests to start the day together.

“Class Meeting” in the Commons & School Tour
1:30 PM • Free
Location: Fargo South High School, 1840 15th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103
Hosts: Mark Juven and Richard Warner
Step back into the halls where it all began. We’ll gather in the Commons, tour both the old and new parts of the school, and take grade‑school group photos. Expect plenty of stories, laughter, and that unmistakable South High magic.

Miniature Golf – a Fun Option for +1 Guests
1:30 PM • Pay at the park
Location: Thunder Road Amusement Park, 2902 Thunder Rd S, Fargo, ND 58104
Host: Ed Van Hal
Two creative 18‑hole courses feature waterfalls, rock formations, and even a giant volcano hole. This is a fun, easygoing option for +1 guests while classmates attend the school tour.

Poolside Social & Hors d’oeuvres at the Fargo Country Club
6:30 PM • $33 per person
Location: Fargo Country Club, 509 26th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103
Host: Paul Diederich
Join us for a relaxed evening at the Fargo Country Club with plenty of space to mingle both by the pool and in the adjoining indoor room. The food will be plentiful with a generous spread of hors d’oeuvres along with heartier options like sliders and chicken wings. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening. It is an easy, welcoming setting for classmates and their guests to unwind, share stories, and enjoy the camaraderie that has carried us through five decades.

45 Year Reunion

Mark your calendars for the Fargo South High School Class of 1981- 45-year class reunion for Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the Lakeside Tavern in Detroit Lakes.

We hope to see you there but also understand if this date and location will not work for everyone. Apologizes in advance. 40th Reunion

Lordy, lordy, it's our 40th!

Join your fellow 1986 classmates in Fargo for a weekend of reliving memories and creating new ones. Bump and Tilt has closed, the Rose Creek coulee is full of beautiful homes, Skateland would be dangerous at our age, so we have booked Suite Shots for our party. You don’t have to golf to have fun! We may have some contests if you want to swing a club once or twice. Or you can take on some past rivalries for some healthy competition. We have a large meeting room area reserved with appetizers, beverages and possibly some songs from the 80’s. Best of all-catching up with friends!

The south Fargo Burger King has been demolished, but you can now get information updated information here or on the Fargo South High Class of 1986 Facebook page. It's much easier than riding your bike or moped out to see where the party is.

20 year Reunion

We can’t wait to gather, reminisce, and collectively pretend we remember everyone’s name within the first 7 seconds. Come prepared to swap stories, do some light recon like it’s social media in real life, and absolutely overuse the phrase, “wait… you haven’t changed at all.”

Expect nostalgia. Expect questionable memory accuracy. Expect at least one person to say, “I can’t believe it’s been 20 years,” every 4 minutes.

Anyway, we’re genuinely excited to see everyone! Let the mildly unhinged reminiscing begin.

Golf Scramble at Osgood Golf Course

Kick off reunion weekend on the course! Your registration includes green fees, a cart, and a contribution to the prize pool.
The scramble begins with a 1:00 PM shotgun start at Osgood Golf Course.

This is the main event of the weekend — an evening to reconnect, celebrate, and reminisce.

10 Year Class Reunion

10-Year Class Reunion will be at Unhynged Bar (3330 Sheyenne Street, Suite 116, West Fargo) on May 23rd at 6:00pm! Food and drink will be available for purchase and a small cover ($10) will be collected to help pay for the reserved area. Plus ones are welcome and the Dan Brekke Band starts at 9pm. Please pass along to all members of your class.
