Fargo Friendships: Mattea Hullander (Nybo) & Nancy Brock (Ngo): Fargo South High School, Class of 2015

Nancy and I met when we both went to Nokomis daycare but our friendship truly started on the first day of kindergarten at Jefferson Elementary School. Her and I both had last names that ended in a "N" so we had lockers next to one another, sat close to each other and were familiar from daycare. She moved to St. Cloud when we were in kindergarten and when she came back in first grade, I remembered her and our teacher made me her "buddy". 

We were attached at the hip ever since. My parents have become her second set of parents, they even attended many parent-teacher conferences on both our behalf in high school and no one batted an eye. Where one of us was, the other one was closely following behind. We did cheerleading together, joined DECA and made it to finals at Nationals together, we started our first job at the Fargo Parks district together, we started off our college careers at Concordia together (eventually Nancy transferred to NDSU), lived together multiple times and most recently, were each other's maids of honor in our 2024 weddings. We have been best friends for 25 years and counting.
