Brennan and I were friends from middle school at Ben Franklin, but started dating the fall of our senior year. Brennan and I had many of the same classes and he always helped me study to make sure I was passing, school was very natural to him. We were both busy with activities, I was the NDJCL State President, FNHDECA Member, and Captain of the North Golf Team. 

Brennan was captain of the football team, and also participated in swimming in the winter sport season. One of my best memories of that year together was Senior Prom, we had learned to swing dance with other members of our class as taught by Mr. David Volk in the evenings. After graduation we actually had planned to break-up, as I was headed to school at the University of Wisconsin. We just kept putting it off, and a semester later I ended up joining Brennan back at NDSU. We both graduated from NDSU, and were married in 2017. We knew we wanted to be back on the North Side of Fargo to raise our family and moved back to North Fargo in 2018. We welcomed our daughter, Ellis, in September of 2021, and cannot wait for her to be a Spartan. We have saved all of our Spartan gear, so we can be the cool vintage parents in the stands some day. It's been fun to stay connected to our community and our alma mater. We've had an amazing 10 years together, and are excited for what our future holds.
