We all took part in R.D. Hendricks' journalism program over the years. Several others did too, but we 10 remained in some kind of contact over the years. I think it was our 30-year reunion (2008) that really brought us back together. We keep in touch now through group emails and occasional get-togethers. One of our group has now passed away (Jay Kasdan) but the remaining nine of us are still pals. We have unofficially called ourselves the J-Crew (because we took all or some of the journalism courses J-1, J-2, J-3 and J-4. Now we live scattered from Costa Rica to California, Chicago to Minneapolis to Fargo. No matter. Still the Crew.
